Evidence before inference
Method and provenance
The register records native fields, preserves unknowns, grades each claim by its own class, and makes the evidence boundary visible.
Recording
The two JSONL seeds retain their native fields. All 20 local captures matched MANIFEST.tsv SHA-256 values; mismatches: 0. Seed rows are regenerated as static dossiers without filling facts from memory.
Grading by class
- C1: a factor witness for one specific integer.
- C2: a frozen fast-general operational claim.
- C3: a classical polynomial-time theorem and complete complexity account.
- C4: a quantum method at its declared actuality and resource level.
One-multiplication self-adjudication applies to instance claims only and never promotes a generality verdict.
Self-adjudication versus generality
For C1, exact arbitrary-precision multiplication can settle whether submitted factors multiply to one submitted integer. It settles no novelty, priority, speed, distribution, scaling, classical complexity, or quantum actuality question.
One-multiplication self-adjudication applies to instance claims only and never promotes a generality verdict. No C1 multiplication was used to promote or reject a C2–C4 claim.
Open means unlocated
Open means no published factorization was located in the supplied evidence at the scout cut-off. It is not proof that no private result exists, and it is not a claim of impossibility.
Provenance discipline
No factor, date, bit length, prize, team, or method is filled from memory. The 37 null bit lengths and the 17 factored records with null exact dates remain explicit as “not locked in local evidence”. All 48 null date fields, including open records, receive the same literal. Capture and scout labels stay plain labels.
Hashes and pulse
Every page names the register-ledger and factoring-journal SHA-256 values used to build it. Four watcher names come from the local factoring-corpus configuration. Checks have public times and failures when recorded; an absent heartbeat is shown as quiet, never success.
Watched URLs belong to the watcher machinery, not to record source_slugs. The site does not synthesize provenance links and performs no reader tracking.
Standing rule
An entry records a claim in the literature, graded by its class, not a judgment of its author. Grade claims, never claimants.
