The Factoring Claims RegisterSuccessor to the RSA Factoring Challenge (1991-2007)
1991–2007
A public ladder of named composite integers and prize labels. RSA withdrew the challenge in 2007; this register carries the catalogue forward without reviving its prizes.
Later factorization records still belong in the historical catalogue, but their former prize labels did not become live again. RSA-704 and RSA-768 were recorded after the challenge ceased to offer those prizes, so no prize was claimed through the withdrawn programme.
The archived RSA page says 'Not Factored', while scout A's current catalogue status says factored; the current status is used and the stale archive disagreement is preserved. Exact date, factorers, and method are not supplied locally. The $30,000 figure is a former prize label and was not live when the result appeared.
General-purpose record factorization. The $50,000 figure is a former prize label; the challenge was inactive, so this was not a live prize claim.
RSA-576, 174 digits, recorded 3 December 2003. Its $10,000 label was live when the number was factored.
RSA-250, 250 digits / 829 bits, recorded 28 February 2020. No prize is locked for it in the local evidence.
No prize on this register is payable. prize_usd values are preserved historical labels only, never an offer.
